From Silver City

Take NM HWY 15 north from Silver City if YOU ARE NO LONGER THAN 20 FEET. Although it is only 39 miles from Silver City, the travel time is approximately two hours because of the twisting and winding roads through mountain terrain; for any RV longer than 20 feet, use NM HWY 35, which goes through the Mimbres Valley. Even though this route is a bit longer, it will not have the same winding roads as HWY 15. GPS directions take you all the way on NM HWY 15, which is a bad idea for anyone longer than 20 feet.

ALL RIGS LONGER THAN 20 FEET; Demning 180 west to Highway 61 (City of Rocks), a right turn. Cross 152 by going left, then right onto 35. Follow 35 to Highway 15, another right. From Silver City, take 180 East to 152, a left turn PAST the Stop light at Santa Clara. In about 14 miles take a left on 35 follow signs toward the Gila Cliff Dwellings. At Highway 15, take a right, and you have about 14 more miles to the RV Park.
